Wonderland Pawsitive Behavior Day
We earned 600 shout-outs as a school for showing "PAW"sitive Behavior. We celebrated the day before Valentine's Day with Wonderland Queen of Hearts Day. Fun times in fifth grade!

Point of View and Perspective
Close reading Martin Luther King, Jr's I Have a Dream speech by identifying and discussing point of view and perspective. We will compare his speech to other primary sources from that time period. We are becoming expert historical analyzers as we read in-depth.

Fraction Action
Today, we played a game that involved adding fractions. We used efficient strategies and became experts at combining fractions to get close to a whole. To increase our understanding, we applied what we learned to getting close to 2.
